A great area, magnificent location close to the taxi, motorway and charleroi airport and a lovely restaurant. Plus, 5 minutes drive from Chapelle de Heigne. Generous breakfast with bacon and fresh eggs for every taste.

English communication was sometimes difficult. The bathroom was not really clean.

The staff was incredibly nice, the beds were lovely. I got a good sized and newly decorated room with an open bathroom. the breakfast was generous and great, with a variety of delicious food. the stay on public holidays was certainly good value.

The location here is wonderful, close to a supermarket, the airport, and Brussels downtown, and the staff is friendly; the room we had was budget-friendly, had a comfortable double bed.

We used the Van Der Valk as an overnighter for an early flight from Chaleroi. In our limited experience we found the hotel to be practical for our purpose, the rooms we basic but clean and functional. The staff in the restaurant were extremly friendly and helpful and our early morning departure was catered for and transport organised

We have been to the hotel over ten times to visit relatives. Compared to other hotels nearby, the Hotel Van der Valk seems to be the better one. Now we were slightly disappointed.
The mini bar was only filled with still water for the three days but not really as promised the offer. We also had the feeling that we could not get the room we had ordered.
